Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

Apply legal principles

Liaise with lawyers, legal staff and clients
Prepare and fact-check case documentation for lawyers
Depending on your location, visit and observe a real legal services practice
Visit and observe a court in session

Strong pathways to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities
Some courses require evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
Completed the Certificate IV in Legal Services and/or have some experience working in a legal environment
High level literacy skills and a passion for reading
An interest in legal principles, legislation and the legal process
Good organisational skills to identify and find legal documents
